We emphasized the pair's juxtaposition not only with each other, but with the societal standards surrounding them in Los Angeles: rich, beautiful, talented, successful...all the things they're not.
"Cheap Ads"
Instead of the usual high production value ad campaign, what would happen if Esther and Benji were tasked with marketing their own show? These humorous, self-deprecating “cheap ads” appeared in print and on social media.
